More info about some of the songs:

Ohh so sweet is Kaltukatjara
(guitar, sampler, cassette)
This piece is based on the fibonacci sequence. Samples are taken with an increasing duration corresponding to the sequence - 1s, 1s, 2s, 3s, 5s, 8s, 13s, 21s. This results in a pulsing rhythm with constantly changing metre but which still carries the semblance of dance. Recorded at Kaltukatjara in the Northern Territory and inspired by the wide smiles of the locals there.

Wind Song
(CKB - electronics, Mel Simpson - vocals, Matt Williams - Bass, Rory Brown - Bass)
This song is inspired by the ruthless autumn winds up on the cliffs at Akemi in Medlow Bath. The sound of the wind was recorded, put through various filters and effects, and then I asked the other people living at Akemi to play along with it over the course of about a week. And then the different contributions were collated into one song.

Blue dream aeroplane
(guitar, electronics)
This piece intends to convey the impression of a flight through the lower atmosphere in a light aeroplane.

Happy the way things are
(CKB - bass, Matt Earle - simultaneous drums & guitar). Matt had his guitar set up laying on one of the drums and used it as a percussion instrument. Recorded in Katoomba 2006

Planets for te
(laptop)
For this piece a chart found on the internet of the frequencies of the Sun, Moon and planets’ and their orbits was used to create a collage of overlapping sine waves representing a journey through the solar system.
